1992

Millennial generation. I was born in a world that was still making the shift to digital.

Growing up, I was fully immersed in comic books, magazines, and other printed content, but also with TV and video games.

1998

Thanks to my dad’s interest in tech stuff, I got one of these white-beige PCs with Windows. With an AOL installation disc, we set up a dial-up connection, and I accessed the internet for the first time.

Since being connected all the time could be costly, I’ve not only played offline games but also used to explore graphical tools and even things such as FrontPage (website creation).

2007

With the help of tutorials I found on web I learned how to use professional graphical software.

I started to create collages, posters, flyers, and other explorations. This also led to my interest in brands and visual identity.

2011

A year of big changes. Life took me to the seaside. I was not really sure of the new possibilities, but I rebuilt my life from scratch. New place, people, college, and things. Living at the beach definitely helped me to reconnect with nature.

2012

By this time I’ve finally concluded my formal education. I studied graphic and digital design and this gave me the necessary skills to work in advertising agencies and communication bureaus.

2012 - 2015

2015

I got an email requesting a visual identity. The sender was from Kuwait, and I almost did not believe that it was real. We grew up in a good relationship and many different projects have been delivered.

This experience made me confident to dream about working abroad at some point.

2015

By this year, I was already working mostly with user interfaces. But more than this, I was also doing the planning part of it. Gathering requirements, talking to stakeholders, and creating flows and wireframes. UX was already there somehow. I just needed to study more about the field and its references.

2016

As a music lover, it was a delight to receive an invitation to join Vagalume. The website has been part of the Brazilian internet folklore for so long.

It was my first experience working strictly with digital products and I could develop my skills to another level.

A facelift for the visual identity as well as for the website were my main deliveries in my time over there, as well as the launch of the radio streaming service Vagalume.FM

2017 - 2018 (Graduation in 2020)

2019 - 2021

I’ve joined the Jüssi’s digital products hub to work as a User Interface Specialist. I worked allocated at clients, mostly for Whirlpool Corporation e-commerces in Brazil, such as Consul, Brastemp, and KitchenAid.

2020

After years of concealing working time, I finally concluded my post-graduation in Communication and Semiotics.

Macs are pricey in Brazil. I only could afford a “perk” like this when I was old enough to let the hype go.

Either way, there I was hooked into the Apple ecosystem.

Joined Backbase, a leader technology provider in the financial sector.

I started to live in the Netherlands as a highly skilled immigrant.

2022

After years of dreaming of such an accomplishment. I was able to attend the required workshops and examinations to obtain the certificate.
